Senderos Set for Fulham Return!

It`s noticeable that Aaron Hughes and Brede Hangeland have contributed enormously to the season so far.

Almost ever-present you wonder, at times, whether Mark Hughes would have liked to have given either of them a rest.

Well that opportunity might soon be forthcoming with our summer signing, Philippe Senderos, fast approaching full fitness.

Senderos has had a miserable time at Craven Cottage since he arrived, mostly thanks to an Achilles injury that happened a week before the season kicked off.

But, the experienced 26 year old Swiss international could soon be thrown into the fray with Mark Hughes commenting,

"He's been out for a long time and you get setbacks when you've been out for a significant period.'

'Philippe's got a lot of experience and has played at a high level for some time so he understands you go through periods like this."

'He's an outstanding professional and, when his time comes, I'll have no qualms putting him into the team because of his experience and ability.'

All in all another defensive option for Hughes as the season approaches its final stages.

Nice to have some back-up. We've been lucky that Hangeland and Hughes have not suffered significant injuries this term. Wonder if Senderos can play right back. Hmmmm....

An option, no doubt -if Brede goes or if Hughes gets old.
