Fair Play But Does It Lead to Europe?

According to the official site Fulham are handily placed in the Fair Play League.

We`re currently in second place, just adrift of Chelsea. But with Chelsea likely to achieve European qualification at the end of this season, does anybody know if Fulham, if they maintain second place, will go into the draw for a place in theEuropa League?

Or was the lid put on that a while ago?

doesn't that depend on an english side winning the champs league? i don't actually remember, but that sounds right to me...

It depends on the how the Premier League fairs in the overall European fair play rankings. Think the PL would have to finish in the top three. It's a possibility, I guess, though qualifying in that manner forces us into the first qualifying round and would make for a long, long journey to reach the final. Do we really want to do that again? It cost us a few positions last time. This time it could cost us more.

For European football I would take the sacrifice in a few league places.

I think you would have to say that we now have a bigger and better squad than last time and I for one would welcome a few more european nights at the cottage :)

I understand, but I'd rather qualify through position and have our first match in the 3rd qualifying round rather than the 1st qualifying round; not that taking on Dinamo Tbilisi or Shakhter Karaganda is not appealing, but it's a long haul even from the 3rd round, much less the 1st.

EUROPE WOULD HELP US ATRACT BETTER PLAYERS

All due respect, I don't think Europa League helps us attract anyone (save the 30-something 'superstars' for Dinamo Tbilisi or Shakhter Karaganda). We're still little ol' Fulham.
