Hughes on Zamora`s Return!

Bobby is finally back and Mark Hughes is buoyant that he now has back, available for selection, an international class striker and a proven goal-scorer.

After the last-gasp win over Blackburn, a win that drags Blackburn into the relegation strap despite the euphoria their recent takeover stoked up, Hughes gave the media his thoughts on the return of Zamora, commenting,

"He was a little bit apprehensive when I sent him on against Bolton a few weeks ago because he wasn`t quite sure he was ready to play a part. But he made a massive difference for the 20 minutes he was on today."

"I was worried when we got that late penalty after what had happened against Chelsea. But Bobby is a very accomplished player and knew exactly what to do."

Smash it straight down the middle! It (almost) works every time!"

Sparky knows the right time to put players on. He doesn't rush players to come back from injury.

too true... sparky did very well in the transfer window to bring in quality players that made a difference on the pitch, allowing bobby to come back at a reasonable pace, and allowed etuhu to be injured without missing a beat...
