Fulham - Eidur Staying?

Coming on as a substitute against his former club Chelsea, Eidur Gudjohnsen showed that he has something to offer Fulham Football Club.

The Icelandic international, on loan from Stoke City until the end of the season has, since that game, expressed a hope that his move to Fulham can be made permanent with the player remarking, reputedly, to the tabloid media,

"I had been having a difficult time at Stoke, but this club has been a breath of fresh air for me."

"I know it`s not a permanent deal but I`m here to show what I can do. Who knows what will happen in the summer? I`m physically fit, injury-free and hungry to do well. I`ve still got a lot to give."

And we suspect, coming on a free transfer, he could just be the kind of player we`re looking for.

He is a hughes type of player and in a similar mold to the way sparky played. Great player to have around with such experience!
