Fulham Will Be Up For It!

Monday night will witness a West London derby.

For the first time in years, the combatants face each other on what we would perceive as almost equal terms.

Fulham are playing wonderfully well at home whilst Chelsea are having one of those periods when you just don`t know how they`ll play.

Throw into the mix the fact that the Fulham side has a few Chelsea connections with Mark Hughes as our manager and two ex-Chelsea players on our books - Steve Sidwell and Eidur Gudjohsen, plus another on loan to the end of the season, in Gael Kakuta, and it has all the makings of a classic encounter.

Looking ahead to the clash, Mark Hughes has given the media a few thoughts, commenting,

"We`ve been successful recently. To build on that we have to overcome big tests like Chelsea. In terms of the derby we are glad it is here because we are playing with confidence."

I have this feeling Chelsea are not exactly relishing the prospect of coming to Craven Cottage, I can feel it in my bones!
