Fulham - Stockdale`s Wait!

Fulham - Stockdale`s Wait!

It`s always great for national pride when England win, even in a fixture only categorized as being a friendly.

Last night the senior side triumphed 2-1 in Copenhagen with the squad containing representation from Fulham, in the form of David Stockdale.

With six substitutes being allowed during the ninety minutes we were kind of hoping that Fabio Capello would give David a taste of the action, but that didn`t prove to be the case.

Nevertheless, we`d imagine David Stockdale enjoyed the experience and will be hoping he`s once again named in the squad when it is selected for the next fixture, which just happens to be a tasty encounter against Wales, in Cardiff.
