Fulham`s Stockdale Makes England Squad!

The England squad for the friendly international with Denmark was named last night.

We`re proud to say that young David Stockdale has been called up with it being the perfect recognition for the displays he produced whilst Mark Schwarzer was on international duty with Australia.

Stockdale also received a call-up earlier this season but an ankle injury, suffered against Blackpool, saw any participation scuppered.

Let`s hope he has better luck this time.

Well Done to the lad....this will increase his value, like jimmy bull...t! Hopefully he will be a permanent fixture behind Fulham sticks soon. No disrespect Mark, and actually Stockdale has not got that pressure yet of being no.1 and im sure he learning from Mark.

great to have the recognition and it can only help the young player develop... we must keep hold of this player...

congrats to the lad! he had some great games! in my opinion should be our number 1! a great distributer of the ball... marks a bit slow in that department for my liking! its great to be spoilt for choice! COYW
