Fulham - Five on the Bounce!

It was a win that was ground out last night, but nonetheless the three points are very welcome.

Newcastle were resolute opposition but their rearguard finally crumbled to give Mark Hughes reason to smile afterwards.

Speaking about the victory, the boss had this to say,

"We want people to come here thinking they are not going to get an easy ride."

"We want them to be fearful. That`s five wins on the bounce at home for us but players have come back."

"Newcastle came to stop us playing our game. Yes, the pitch isn`t ideal but the ball wasn`t on it much in the first half anyway, so it didn`t really make a difference."

Fortress Craven Cottage has a nice ring to it don`t you think>?
