Fulham - Duff Nets!

It just keeps on happening!

The history books are littered with players who have got the winning goals against former clubs and, true to form, it happened again last night.

This time it was Damien Duff, barracked by the way support (probably because his own goal got Newcastle relegated two seasons back) who achieved that particular feat.

Speaking about the thrill of notching his first goal of the season, Duff had this to say to the media afterwards,

"I had been getting a bit of stick all night, I didn`t have the best time up there at Newcastle but that was my first goal of the season."

"It`s taken a while and I`m overjoyed to get three points for the team after a difficult first half of the season."

Onwards and upwards!

He's looked more lively, of late. I guess he's finally fully recovered from the early season injuries. Not sure that he'll hold onto his spot once we have everyone back from injury, but we'll see.

Well done to the lad he played well and yes i agree where does he fit if you have a fit and firing bobby z and aj. Dembele and Dempsey on the wings? Sidwell, danno and etuhu will share the middle two spots. So in reserve duff and davies....not bad actually

Duff will still be a starter for another season I think. Especially in such a good form as he's recently in. Dembele is more of a forward now really.
artilleria pesada
but where will he play? with aj sit and dembele play with bobby?

we will always have some one that is not fit thats the way it is with players that can play in more then one role we can always shuffel; the pack me thinks and one or two may be shiped out in the summer
