Arriving at Craven Cottage has give Eidur Gudjohnsen the chance to resurrect this Premier League career.
The Icelandic international could well feature tonight when we entertain Newcastle United, as we return to Premier League action.
Speaking about his move, Eidur has commented to the media,
"Fulham showed a big interest in me, I know a few people here from my Chelsea days and know their style of play."
"I`ll do my best to bring out my qualities to help the team."
"Things didn`t work out for me at Stoke."
"Maybe it was slightly different views on the way football is played between me and the way Stoke play."
"It was a difficult time for me."
It remains to see how much Eidur features for us especially with Andrew Johnson and Moussa Dembele in such good form and also with Bobby Zamora returning to full fitness.
But his presence does give Mark Hughes several other options with Gudjohnsen being able to play as an out-and-out striker and also in the hole behind the front two.
