Fulham - Gudjohnsen Joins

Craven Cottage was relatively quite on transfer deadline day.

There was no mass movement of players either in and out.

But, just as the 23:00 hour deadline approached, news broke that Fulham had agreed to take the cultured Stoke City player, Eidur Gudjohnsen on loan for the remainder of the season.

Eidur who has a wealth of Premier League experience with Bolton, Chelsea and Spurs, has failed to make an impact at Stoke City.

But, it`s also being reported that as part of the deal, Fulham will only be paying a quarter of his salary, with Stoke picking up the remainder.

It sounds like we may have got a bit of a deal there!

A cheap loan for an experienced player... sounds good to me. At the very least, he provides some quality depth, which we've lacked.
