Fulham - Sidwell`s Ready!

With Dickson Etuhu expected to be sidelined with an injury tonight there seems a fair chance Steve Sidwell will be given his first start since joining us from Aston Villa.

Sidwell who came on as substitute in the 2-0 win over Stoke has spoken about his move south and how it has been a move he`s hankered for since last summer, when he remarked to the media,

"This was a long time coming as I was hoping to come here in the summer."

"A fee was agreed but when Roy Hodgson left everything was up in the air. So I`m delighted to finally be a Fulham player."

"I can`t deny the fact the chance to move back south was a key factor. Now I`m looking to show what I can do."

And Anfield seems as good a place as any!

Performed no different than he did for Villa - the invisible man! Needs a major improvement. In his defense, however, it was very clear that he and Murphy were not on the same page and as most of the build-up went through Murphy in the middle and Pantsil on the right last night, he didn't get much of a chance.

Oh teddy give him a chance....

I didn't say he wasn't going to be a success for us. I just said he had a bad match and needs to play better moving forward. I give no quarter.
Teddy_KGB
lets hope he gets better
