Fulham - SWP Latest!

Mark Hughes has already expressed his desire to lure Shaun Wright-Phillips to West London and today the tabloid press are, once again, extolling the virtues of such a deal.

A fee of £4 million is being mentioned with the fact that the small fee might well be sufficient to allow Fulham to overcome the, reputed, £70,000 a week salary the player is on.

Burt before we all jump a jig of delight, we should point out that Bolton and Blackburn are also interested in securing some kind of deal for the England international.

4 mil seems like a bargain, but the weekly wages are high i guess... i think he'd be an improvement over duff at this point... he's an old man, and apparently he hasn't scored in a year! let's get younger.

At 4 mil and 70k a week I still think he's a gamble, if he doesn't recapture his form, we then have a player we can't can't get rid of on a mental weekly wage

SWP is only two years younger than Duff, and his 30th birthday is coming up this year, so I'm voting for a loan deal and then get a younger winger this summer...

get that southampton lad Alex, loan him back to the saints and he can join in the summer and we can sell him to liverpool (he supports them) in three years for 20 mill

why arnt we going for Charlie Adam? surely this one man team, at 25 years old, is exactly what we need instead of this SWP and sidwell. if you throw 5 or 6 million at blackpool im sure they would sell

Charlie Adam would be great, but it sounds like he's not moving anywhere. Get O'Hara on loan with an eye to a permanent move in summer. He's finally healthy and played in the Spurs reserve match a few nights ago.
