Fulham - Adebayor?

Am I the only one feeling frustrated?

When I say frustrated, I`m referring to the quietness of the January transfer market as far as Fulham are concerned.

As December rolled over into January, our name was linked with several players but now that supply seems to have dried up.

All we can find today is a snippet that suggests that Fulham are one of a number of clubs interested in Adebayor.

With the forward set to leave Manchester City, I`d hazard a guess that any lingering interest we may have had will have been blown away by the revelation that any club who does take the forward on loan will be responsible for his huge £160,000 a week salary!

A definite non-starter then!

We've always been quiet when it comes the transfer window. Look at the Sidwell situation, it happened in about 3 days. We're not like Blackburn where we say who we want to the media before anything has happened. Its frustrating yes, but at least we don't get egg in or faces like Blackburn did with Ronaldinho. Have faith, we'll get more players in, quality ones I hope.

Oh, and in regards to Adebayor, I would only offer him a contract if it had it written in he wasn't allowed to enter the dressing room or talk to our players off the pitch. He's poison. He'll destroy the togetherness that our squad has.

I have to agree with Riverside do we really want someone like Adebayor at Fulham, even if we could afford his wages which we can't do you think he would view Fulham as a club that he would give his all for?
Oldwolf
he's a bad decision in all regards...
