Fulham Chasing City Flyer?

With the opening of the transfer window fast approaching its mid-stages, it`s been a transfer window that hasn`t exactly sparkled.

True, we`ve seen Steve Sidwell arrive but, as will normally be the case, we expect that the real bluster will come when the end of the month arrives.

But, there are still plenty of rumours floating around an done such rumour has Mark Hughes expressing an interest in the Manchester City player, Shaun Wright-Phillips.

Mark Hughes, as most of you are aware, has had previous dealings with the England winger and was the one who took him back to Manchester City after Chelsea decided he was surplus to requirements.

Interestingly, the fee mentioned appears to be quite favourable with 4 million being quoted.

Would a move for Shaun Wright-Phillips meet with your approval?

Your comments, as always, would be most welcome!

I'd welcome him, he is diarrhea-fast!

I'm not the biggest SWP fan, but I'm all for it.
He's not as good as he used to be, but i reckon our Shaun could do a job for you for the next couple of seasons at least. Regular games will certainly benefit him. Also heard a rumour that Hughes wants Adebayor - Shaun is a good lad, but Adebayor will poison your dressing room. Good player, but he'll think he's bigger than the club, and I'm sure you don't need the hassle for the money he'll be wanting.
yes for SWP! no for ADE! c'mon sparky, bring in shaun... he can fly on the wings...
4 mill is good, but do we really need more wingers? Dempsey, Duff, Dembele, Gera, Davies, Riise and now SWP. I see two names going in the summer if we sign him, Riise and Gera or Duff.

dembele is more of a second striker, playing in the hole... but i agree... we have a glut of wingers... but he would be an improvement i think...
