Fulham - A Relieved Hughes!

Fulham - A Relieved Hughes!

Last night saw Fulham get back to winning ways on home soil.

Ably assisted by a clanger from Scot Carson, the 3-0 victory saw Fulham leap out of the relegation area into a lofty 13th position, something which Mark Hughes spoke about in his post match interview, remarking,

"You wake up in the morning and its 13th and it makes better reading but we`re still in the group there and we`ve got to try and build on that."

"We`ve had to battle and scrap for results and we`ve shown those qualities."

"Draws don`t move you up the league."

"Unfortunately wins have been lacking in recent weeks."

"You have to have luck and have goals in key moments in games. We`ve understood that maybe we need to be more competitive."

Unfortunately, we all know that unless we can maintain this form a loss can put you right back into the uncomfortable zone!
