The tabloid press seem pretty insistent that the Stoke City striker, Eidur Gudjohnson, is prepared to tear up his current contract and walk away from the Britannia Stadium in search of regular first team football.

Gudjohnson, an Icelandic international who made his name with that lot down the road, is the sort of player whose silky skills and ability to finish could well give our side the cutting edge that Mark Hughes reckons it lacks.

I think he heard that the pies were better up north....so to stoke he went! Do we need some one who will take a month to get match fit.....no!
