Fulham - Hughes on MOTD Comments!

Fulham - Hughes on MOTD Comments!

The red card offence, committed by Michael Essien, on Wednesday night continues to irk Mark Hughes.

In response to the pundits on Match of the Day inferring the red card decision was harsh, Hughes has hit back with a few hard-hitting words of his own, remarking,

"You`re not allowed to jump in with two feet and leave the floor because you put other players at risk. And Essien did catch Clint so had to suffer the consequences."

"I`d suggest the Match of the Day panel hasn`t watched the game in its entirety, because they rarely do. There were a couple of other challenges - I think Essien got booked earlier on for a challenge on Clint, which was dangerous as well. Maybe it was an accumulation of that."

We`re not sure they ever watch the game in its entirety and we`re convinced that the majority of those pundits are only there to enhance there so-called celebrity status!
