Fulham - Salcido Injury Blow!

Just as our Mexican sensation was starting to make a name for himself, he picks up what could be a nasty injury.

Carlos Salcido has been a surprise package this season and quickly become a favourite of the Fulham faithful but now, courtesy of a challenge from Luke Young on Saturday, the defender is looking at a spell on the side-lines.

Post match Mark Hughes was far from happy with the Luke Young challenge remarking to the assembled press,

"It doesn`t look good in fairness. He`s in a boot at the moment. I`ve seen the tackle on video and the lad`s gone over the top and I would imagine its ligament damage."

"I don`t want to say how long but it`ll be a number of weeks."

Just what we didn`t need with a fixture at Stamford Bridge fast approaching!

We're being gutted by injuries this season. I wonder if Duff will be the emergency replacement at leftback? Has to be better than Kelly.
not having a lot of luck at the momment maybe baird can fill in and pant s can come back not looking good for wednesday
truth sayer ffc
Another injury. **sigh** When will it be our fortune to have all our players fit to play? Not likely I think, with all the 'hard' tackles and unfortunate injuries that our team seems to have lately. Well, lets just hope for the best for our team. COYW!!!
this one really hurt... he was good in the back... and going forward...
