Fulham - A Breath of Oxygen!

Fulham - A Breath of Oxygen!

It`s great to see how Fulham has embraced modern technology when it comes to treating injuries.

Long gone are the days when everything revolved around a wet sponge and resting for weeks on end until any knock received healed itself.

Today, every assistance available is used to get those who are injured speedily through the recovery period.

Two of our players are spending time in oxygen chambers to help them get back into first team action, or as Dickson Etuhu puts it,

"I believe I will be back in three weeks."

"I`ve been using the oxygen chamber at a hospital. It`s like a small submarine, but when I come out I feel great."

"Bobby is using one at Fulham. It`s smaller, like a coffin, but he`s in there every day."

"I used the same treatment about 15 months ago when I`d torn a quad muscle. Bobby is a massive loss to us and we need him quick as back as possible."

It sort of makes you ponder as to what treatment players will be receiving in a decade or two`s time!
