Fulham - What Would You Do?

With the latest media speculation, backed up with a few quotes from Mark Schwarzer, implying that Mark Hughes may well be forced into the market for a goalkeeper, one name has already re-entered the equation.

The Daily Express infers that the Schwarzer situation may well see Mark Hughes trying to lure Shay Given to Craven Cottage, to replace Schwarzer.

Now this is, we believe, still all speculation but with something almost bound to happen, in January, we`d like to canvass your opinion.

We`d like to know whether you`d mourn the loss of Schwarzer, or whether you`d welcome Shay Given with open arms or would you prefer David Stockdale to be given the chance to continue to impress and possibly gate-crash the England squad again?

Schwarzer was great two years ago, adequate last season and not terribly impressive this season (so far). I'd love to have Shay Given, but I'd prefer a loan for the remainder of the season, thereby putting Stockdale in line for the starting role next season.

i don't want given... can he organize a defence like schwarzer? i want to give the reigns to stockdale, and have a reliable fallback if he goes astray... given would demand playing time, and might cost to much wage wise anyway... i'm most likely wrong... and i think a loan deal is a great idea... no long term commitments...

put in stockdale and etheridge as back up let mark stew me thinks

City might just sell you Given seeing as you are no threat!
Red Boy
give Stockdale a go he's been fine so far!

If I was Wenger and I had a choice between signing Given and Schwarzer surely he'd go for Given? The only issue is that we've seen already this year that Man City have refused to let players go off on loan to rivals which is why a superb player like Bellamy is sitting in Cardiff

but City will not let Given go to a title rival!
