Fulham - Dempsey Shines!

Fulham - Dempsey Shines!

Asked to play in a forward role that he`s sometimes done before, Clint Dempsey gave West Ham a torrid time on Saturday.

He may have been playing with an eye that looked like he`d gone ten rounds with a leading heavyweight contender but come the final whistle the West Ham defence knew they`d been in a hard battle.

Having already been the villain of Robert Green`s peace in South Africa, it`s fair to say that the keeper had no chance with the effort that beat him this time around.

Dempsey is the sort of player that will always give 100% and having put in a shift and a half on Saturday, it was pleasing to see that at least one tabloid had recognized his efforts, on Saturday, by naming him in their Premier League team of the weekend!

Cometh the hour cometh Clint!
