Fulham - Johnson Comeback Draws Nearer!

The rehabilitation programme designed to get Andrew Johnson back into the first team fold continues in earnest.

The striker, who has been out since January, will play in two specially arranged behind-closed-doors friendly matches with Mark Hughes telling the official site,

'Andy [Johnson] is joining in with the senior squad and we've got matches, behind closed doors, organised for his benefit in the coming weeks.'

'Hopefully he'll get through them okay and he'll be an option, albeit initially on the bench.'

With our striking options currently restricted, never has a comeback been so eagerly anticipated.
