Fulham - Hughes Not Rushing Johnson Back!

I wonder if Mark Hughes rues the opportunity of not strengthening his strike force other than with the introduction of Moussa Dembele, in the recent transfer window.

The loss of Bobby Zamora, for an expected period of five months, will hit the side hard, even though Andrew Johnson is slowly creeping towards full fitness.

Johnson, who has missed a significant proportion of the last season, continues to eek towards taking a place in the starting squad but, understandably, Hughes is reluctant to rush him back in case the striker suffers a setback, a point Hughes reiterated to the media, remarking,

"We`re hoping to get Andy back - which will compensate for the loss of Bobby - in three to four weeks. But we don`t want to rush him."

In our current circumstances, we need Andrew Johnson to be fully fit and able to play out the remainder of the season, like never before.

I don't think AJ is crucial to our success, but as he cost us SO MUCH money, I really wish we could get some contribution from him this season.
