'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - It`s Five Months Out for Bobby!

Things have just got a whole lot worse for our top-notch striker Bobby Zamora.

Any hopes of making a comeback as early as January have been rocked by the news that our top scorer from last season suffered ankle ligament damage as well as a broken leg, on Saturday, forcing Mark Hughes to concede,

'Bobby's had his operation. He will now be in bed with his leg elevated for two weeks.'

'The operation showed ligament damage so we're probably now looking at five months.'

'We want to help Bobby get back quickly and there are no concerns over his ability to get back to the level he was before he got injured.'

Just what I didn`t want to hear on a Thursday evening!

Cheers, Oddjob79. As Bobby is not a speed merchant, anyway, I think he'll return to form fairly quickly once recovered.
