Fulham - The Official Player of the Month?

Over on the official web site, we learned that David Stockdale was the unanimous choice as the August Player of the Month.

Stepping into the keeping shoes vacated by the injured Mark Schwarzer, Stockdale seized the opportunity with both hands and only an ankle injury saw him drop out of first team contention, for the time being.

Speaking about his selection as the player of the month, Stockdale admitted he was slightly surprised,

'I'm definitely surprised I won the player of the month award and hopefully now I can get fit and push Mark for his first-team place."

'He's a great goalkeeper so I can't push my luck and I'll cover him until my opportunity comes around again."

Our question to you, is as follows,

Do you agree with the choice or would you have chosen somebody else?

Voted Stockdale! Was very impressed with the young keeer, and hopefully he can get the spot back from Schwarzer. Its the only way for him to get used to the PL.
