Fulham - Schwarzer Exit Plans!

According to the tabloid world, all is not well between Mark Schwarzer and Fulham.

With a dream move to Arsenal in tatters, following the closure of the transfer window, we`ve no doubt that even if he is slightly miffed, Mark will be a consummate professional when asked to play.

However, the tabloid media, and one in particular, are convinced that Schwarzer is adamant that he`ll be leaving Craven Cottage and infers that the Australian will now see his contract out, a contract that expires next June, and will sign a pre-contract with a European club in January before leaving come June,

In hindsight, should we have let him go to Arsenal?

in hindsight perhaps we should have sold him then! Might have put a few bob in the coffers!

Keeping him was the right thing to do. Selling him and not replacing him would be disastrous. I don't know much about Zuberbuhler, but he has played less than Stockdale so is now way capable for a long run inbetween the sticks if Stockdale gets injured. It would have been best for all parties if we found a replacement, but ***** happens.

agreed... it would have been good to bring some money in, but he came in on a free, so no money lost... how much will he be worth in terms of final stadings in the PL if stockdale gets injured and schwarzer can back him up, as opposed to zuberbuhler... probably more than the money we would have gotten from selling him... or at least close to it.

We absolutely should have sold him, but what choice did we have? Blame it on the drawn out managerial situation.
