Fulham - Your Transfer Window Opinions!

The last day before the transfer window slams shut is always a hectic period.

Last minute and often irrational panic buying seems to consume managers who would normally be considered be perfectly rational.

Yesterday, if the news sources are to be believed, our own club got caught up something akin to that frenzy.

Firstly the eventual sale of Paul Konchesky went through and then there was the hullaballoo surrounding the possible departure of Mark Schwarzer and the probably arrival of a replacement goalkeeper.

There were also the rumours relating to large bids for Bobby Zamora coupled the prospect of Rocque Santa Cruz coming in our direction.

If we add into the mix the rumour that David Bentley was on his way then you can see that, for once, Fulham were almost at the centre of the media`s attention.

But now, with the dust settling and no more transfer activity until the January window opens, it`s time to sit down and ponder over whether our club did alright with regards to sales and purchases.

Did the late appointment of Mark Hughes, with the club courting Martin Jol so openly, affect our squad evolution?

Has Mark Hughes snapped up a real gem in Moussa Dembele?

Will we miss Paul Konchesky?

Should we have let Schwarzer got to Arsenal?

Will the two youngsters recruited as part-exchange for Konchesky deliver the goods?

Would you have liked to have seen someone else come in and in what position?

All questions we`d like you to respond to, please feel free to answer all or just a selection (even one) in our comments box below!

Transfers were definitely affected by Hughes' late appointment. Dembele has impressed in his couple of appearances, so I'm optimistic. Hopefully, Salcido is an effective replacement for Konchesky, but only time will tell. I wish we had landed a central midfielder, but with O'Hara recently undergoing back surgery, I don't know who I would've gone after.

not many decent ones around in our price range!

let's hope that schwarzer will be conviced that we'll let him leave in the january window and he plays like a professional till then... i tend to doubt that will happen, but who knows... i hope stockdale isn't or doesn't get hurt... i think salcido will be an adequate replacement for konch, and if either of those two youngster develop, all the better... dembele looks legit, so i think that was a good pickup, and i'm liking what hughes has done in the transfer department so far...

very happy...all the lads stayed apart from konch, but i think salcido will ablely fill his boots. The new guys are mostly younger than we have recently acquired......well done hughes
