Fulham - Gudjohnsen Is Not Ours!

Fulham - Gudjohnsen Is Not Ours!

Time to roll back the hours and see just how those transfer day rumours turned out!

Suggestion - The tabloid press were pretty convinced that the former Spurs, AS Monaco, Barcelona, Chelsea and Bolton forward, Eidur Gudjohnsen was going to reject the advances of Stoke to sign for Fulham with the Cottagers hijacking the proposed loan move.

Outcome - Rumours of late interest from Liverpool proved ot be unfounded with Gudjohnsen spending the best part of the afternoon talking with Stoke. The Potteries side were able to announce, with minutes to spare, that the Icelandic player had put pen to paper for Stoke.

Very true Leonstar. I would have taken Eidur any day, but, we're not amazingly desperate. I think the versatility of our squad is a godsend.
