Fulham - Konchesky`s Replacement!

With Paul Konchesky having been spotted watching Liverpool yesterday, ahead of confirmation of a move to Anfield, speculation mounts as to who Mark Hughes will recruit as a direct replacement.

Sky Sports and the Daily Mail are both of the opinion that it could well be the Ivory Coast full back, Tiene Siaka

Siake is hoping to secure a dream move to England, from Ligue 1 club Valenciennes and has, reputedly, remarked,

'My advisors in England are on top of all the contacts.'

'I am waiting to see what will happen. There is one day to go and anything is possible.

'I am a bit nervous but if everything can be put in place, I could fulfil my dream of joining my Ivorian colleagues in England.'

This could be one worth monitoring as we head towards the transfer window closure!

Isn't Salcido the direct replacement?
Zimmer2002
Salciedo can play both left back and centre back so maybe he is cover from Hughes and Hangeland. Not sure really but having two left backs is a good sign if this is true. Kelly's ***** up on Saturday shows why he is not 1st team quality.
Riverside Chanter
LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER GOOD ONE
truth sayer ffc
totally agree riverside... at first i had the same question as zimmer, but your answer makes total sense... we need cover if one of them goes down... and let the best man play... because kelly just posted the job opening after his performance on saturday...
