Fulham - Your United MOTM

As we contemplate a trip to Blackpool, a final look back to our last Premier League game against Manchester United.

Once again a fixture against United provided a memorable match, who`ll ever forget those final ten minutes when the game swung one way and then another.

In our quest to identify our man-of-the-match, we contemplated that there`d be probable candidates.

Firstly there was the outstanding contribution David Stockdale made, a couple of crucial saves and a penalty save form Nani all assisted his quest to take the award.

Secondly there was the contribution of Brede Hangeland with the Norwegian being unfortunate enough to score an own goal, so late on, but having the testicular fortitude to keep his head up and snatch that last gasp equaliser with a storming header.

An honourable mention should also go to Bobby Zamora who tormented the United centre-backs with his power and presence.

But who did take the honour this time around?

By a huge majority, 55% David Stockdale took the honour with Hangeland trailing in with a, still very commendable, 17%

Decision was too easy!

As always, Hughes was an unsung here, but, undoubtedly, Stockdale deserved this for keeping us in it.

Yeah... STOCKDALE deserved it. Hope he can keep up the good work he has done when he is given as the first choice goalkeeper. But I've read that Mr. Hughes is trying to find another goalie to replace Schwarzer if he leaves. Is that true?? Why doesn't he have faith in STOCKDALE? But as for the game against MU, all the players played very well. It's lucky for MU that they didn't loose.

would it be improper to suggest that johnny evans and john o'shea should have been choices? evans was terrible... zamora ran him ragged...
