Fulham - Salcido on His Way

With rumours surrounding our left-back, Paul Konchesky, being more rife than ever, it appears that Mark Hughes is looking to act quickly to fill in the gap that is likely to be left.

Having already dived into the Eredvisie market, snapping up forward Moussa Dembele, Mark Hughes looks set to return with the capture of versatile PSV defender Carlos Salcido.

It has to presumed that if this goes through, the Mexican international, who heavily impressed during the World Cup, would be a direct replacement for Liverpool-bound Konchesky.

To add a confusing twist to the story, yesterday, Liverpool were seemingly favourites themselves to capture the World Cup star. What happened there is anybody's guess.

Perhaps he just knows we're a better football team?

Let's see if this comes to fruition. I'm very much in the 'anybody but Stephen Kelly' camp!
As am I! Shows your weakness if you can't provide a left-footed left back really...
Wow! Didn't expect this! Salcido is quality:)
So what happened to the "I wont be back to raid Fulham for their players" statement, don't get me wrong I'd like to see Salcido in a Fulham shirt would be a very good signing for us.
That's exactly the point I made in the Konchesky article. So much for 'Gentleman' Roy...
maybe it's a move coming more from konch or hughes than from roy? i dunno... i still trust roy, we'll see how this ends up...
i'd certainly know whick back to attack when we play liverpool...
salcido looks good time will tell me thinks
truth sayer ffc
great if we get him....offload kelly and keep konch
look like we have
truth sayer ffc
