Fulham - Halliche Arrived!

We've been linked with Algerian Centre-Back Rafik Halliche for a fair while now, and after training with the club, Halliche has supposedly agreed a four year contract with Fulham.

The news comes courtesy of the official Benfica website so it would seem done and dusted.

I personally know little of the lad, but, he managed to mark Wayne Rooney out of England's World Cup tie with Algeria over the Summer.

Whether that was actually a difficult job or not, is a different story.

Your thoughts are most welcome. A neccesary purchase or a waste of the rumoured £1.4 million which could be better spent elsewhere?

well we lost smalling this summer, so did we really have cover for centerback? 1.4 mil doesn't seem like too much... god forbid hangeland or hughes got injured, i guess baird would fill in, but he's injured at the moment, no? could be a good pick up...

I must say I'm happy myself. Decent centre back and Arsenal were after him...
