Fulham - Schwarzer Deal Stalls!

Fulham - Schwarzer Deal Stalls!

It had been widely expected that there would be movement on the Schwarzer to Arsenal deal in the last twenty-four hours!

But it now appears that talks between the clubs have been interrupted after Fulham turned down Arsenal`s latest bid for £2 million for the veteran goalkeeper.

It appears that Fulham have taken exception to Arsenal submitting another bid that was no different to the bid they had rejected back in May when this whole saga first kicked off.

It remains to be seen what happens next.

Will Arsenal come back with an increased offer?

Will Schwarzer start for Fulham on Sunday, against Manchester United?

Stay tuned for any further news!

I'm still hoping he goes. I'm a firm believer of players who don't want to play shouldn't play. Vela in exchange plus cash, as rumoured, would be nice but seems a bit unlikely.
