Fulham - Schwarzer Going?

It`s looking increasingly likely, according to the Sunday tabloids, that Mark Schwarzer might well get his wish to move to Arsenal.

On tabloid suggests it is almost a done deal with only the transfer fee to be negotiated, however, another paints a slightly different picture with it being implied he`s going nowhere.

After the 0-0 draw at the Reebok Stadium, Mark Hughes sort of clarified matters when he remarked,

"Nothing has moved regarding Mark`s situation. We`ve had conversations and I understand he wants to take an opportunity - but he understands we have to protect our interests."

So he`ll be gone by transfer deadline day then!

I think a lot depands on what happens with Shay Given at City, I'd be happy if we got him as a repacment, but there's also talk of him going to Arsenal instead of Schwarzer.

I really don't want him at the club if he's not 100% committed. Just let him go and bring in a decent replacement, maybe even feeding DS in and out of the side after yesterday's fantastic performance.

seems to be he'll be gone... given's a good shot stopper, but i don't know about his management of the defense...

i think arsenal would prefer given to mark s....... i think he may have shot himself in the foot cause if wenger takes given then its bye bye arsenal dream for our mark....could be humble pie me thinks.....
