Fulham - Striker Coming!

Fulham - Striker Coming!

Both leading tabloids are running with a story that Mark Hughes has elbowed aside Birmingham City`s Alex McLeish to edge damn close to signing a striker.

Apparently, Mark is the front runner to sign the FC Twente forward, Moussa Demble.

McLeish, believing he had enticed Demble to St Andrews, is quoted in the tabloid press as having retorted, when asked about the current situation,

"His representative said he`s chosen another option. It`s a blow because we worked hard - but that`s life."

At twenty three years of age Demble is still developing but his, potential, addition to the squad can only improve an area where we currently need some bolstering!

I thought he played for AZ Alkmaar? Anyway I think Juventus also showed an interest in him recently. At least he is younger than 29!
