Fulham - Gera Targeted

Fulham - Gera Targeted

Fresh on the back of a decent week for our Hungarian international, Zoltan Gera, a week that has seen him hit a twelve minute hat-trick against Werder Bremen and also return to international football after a self imposed absence, the big guns are now sniffing around.

The `Daily Grapevine` suggests that Zoltan, who we acquired form West Bromwich Albion, is wanted by Liverpool and Werder Bremen.

Now we`d hope that Roy Hodgson won`t go back on his word about raiding Craven Cottage and pursue any interest bit as for Werder Bremen, obviously they must have been mightily impressed to have been on the receiving end of his remarkable twelve minute hat-trick last Sunday and an investment of around £3 million would be a good one!

Will he go if given the chance? I`d like to think not bit who knows in this crazy world we live in!

I somewhat expected this after his Europa League exploits, but I expected it from the continent. So, Werder Bremen doesn't surprise me, but Liverpool does.

I can't see him making the Liverpool move, but, I've been proven wrong before. I think.
