'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - I`m Sorry Folks!

Right it`s time for an apology!

My close friend Al Billy assures me I`ve overstepped the mark when it came to my latest article on Jimmy Bullard.

On reflection I have to admit he`s right and I have to admit I have nothing against Jimmy.

Perhaps the point I was trying to get across didn`t quite come across how I wanted to, or to be honest perhaps it never really surfaced at all.

The point I was trying to make, but in a very juvenile way I have to admit, was that something is seriously wrong when a player leaves a club and is then on the point, due to circumstances behind our or his control, on the verge of joining another club when the club who bought him from us in the first place have yet to pay the full transfer fee.

Is it any wonder football is in such a financial mess?

After all if you buy a car on credit and then sell it on to another owner without having settled that credit are you not committing a criminal offence?

And as for Jimmy, I`d have him back tomorrow, I`m just still gutted he chose to leave us but then again how many of us have left one job for another in order to get a higher salary?

Once again I offer my apologies if the intention of the article was hidden behind what might have looked like a cheap snipe at Jimmy.

The ol' contemplation at sunset photo- it must be a sincere apology! I don't feel that the apology is necessary, I understood your point. However, I wouldn't have Jimmy back, I feel we've moved on well without him.

true duce but why do we have to keep hereing about him

At least you were man enough to apologise!

Must admit I even think of that. Selling a player when you still haven't paid for him in full? That is taking the mick a bit isn't it. Anyway, no need to apologies, just keep up the articles

No need for apologies, and take no notice of other bitter supporters who have been fooled by jimmy. It still sits uneasy with me, too. I just think we need to draw a line under this person now. He was bought by cookie, served us well went fit, Roy sold him to hull and his injuries continued, and we became a better team and ended up seventh. Roy then took us to europa final, then moved to liverpool. In steps Mark Hughes.....

Personally, I kind of like hearing about our past players...good stories or bad. Particularly Jimmys situation. I'm sure most of us would not wish him harm (seriously), but I bet most of us get just a tiny bit of satisfaction from the fact that the clear demonstration of all that is wrong with football resulted in a big f'ing mess for those that instigated it. Nuff said. Carry on the good work.

Mr.Ploppy are you a fulham supporter?

it's a bit of karma isn't it, but it is time we moved on...
