Fulham - Santa Cruz Muted!

This next one worries me!

Having already explored the possibility of securing Alexander Hleb on loan for the season, the tabloid market has put forward another player that Mark Hughes could be interested in securing for the season.

The player in question is Roque Santa Cruz!

Currently on the books of Manchester City, Santa Cruz has had an injury plagued last two seasons and has yet to justify the huge sum Hughes paid to his former club, Blackburn Rovers, to secure his signature.

There`s no questioning that Santa Cruz, when fit, can be a formidable striker, his goals for Blackburn during his initial season there proved that, but those injury problems give me cause for concern, after all we spent last season beset with injuries o tour forwards do we really want to add another potential crock?

I`d appreciate your feedback!

No thanks. Always, always injured. No more room on the training table.

He's got a lovely smile and wows the women. Football? Does he still play? He's another like Saha, who's injured when he's fit and runs like daddy woodentop

Again - his wages are double what our highest paid player is on. If we sign him then our wages blow up or other players leave. Mo doesn't mind forking out the cash to buy players, but he always insists that the wages are paid for out of club revenue.

can't afford any more crocks. Good at Blackburn 2-3 years ago, but is now 29 and maybe not such a good bet

Lets see how much Hughes values him now if he's interested.
