Fulham - The Row Rumbles On!

The campaign to nail Sir Dave Richards for his involvement in the Peter Crouch transfer, from Portsmouth to Tottenham, continues to generate column inches.

With Fulham feeling as if there is a wrong to be righted here and willing to pursue the matter through the courts, the press today give us another angle from which to view proceedings.

They`re concentrating on an apparent conversation Harry Redknapp had about Peter Crouch with somebody whereby Harry remarked,

"I like Crouchie a lot but I don`t think it will be possible for us to do it."

"Sunderland and Fulham are also interested. I spoke to the chairman and he felt it looked too expensive."

From too expensive to a done deal shortly afterwards!

But the waters get murkier when the Premier League chief, Scudamore, offers the suggestion that Richards got involved at the request of Portsmouth, something that irks Fulham with the Craven Cottage club demanding to know who at Portsmouth requested Richards to become involved.

Ironically, it`s being touted in the tabloid press this morning that in the midst of this ongoing row, Spurs are willing to part company with Peter Crouch for as little as £7 million - are we likely to show interest a second time around?

Pompey fans have no faith in Storrie as its apparent he lined his own before he fled... i suspect HE is the culprit you need to look at, protecting his and harrys sell on bonus, as they were both at pompey when Crouch came in, and the same 2 finalised his move?

interesting... if we got crouch and bellamy, we might have the most ridiculous big man little man combination ever...

nice call woodysweats......little and large show me thinks! Actually with bellers willing to bomb down the wings and the ganglon in the middle to pop them in....not a bad call! Ha ha ha
