Fulham - In the Frame - Gareth Southgate!

Fulham - In the Frame - Gareth Southgate!

Lurking in the Sunday tabloid press this weekend was another candidate put forward as, potentially, our next manager.

The man in question being Gareth Southgate, who has previous managerial experience at Middlesbrough.

Southgate provided excellent expert-analysis as during the recent World Cup and when he took over at Middlesbrough it was seen as a bold move by their chairman, Steve Gibson, seeing as Southgate had yet to do his coaching badges.

At Middlesbrough it all went a bit skew-whiff for Gareth and it was with some regret that Steve Gibson ended his managerial reign.

Now whether Southgate had learned the hard way from those rough times or whether he`s just not cut out to be a top-notch manager is the big question.

But, could he do a job for Fulham is what I want you to answer?

At best we would stay mid-table, I don't see us climbing the table much.
