Fulham - Wenger Set to Pounce!

The saga seems to have stalled in recent weeks but the tabloid press are insistent that Mark Schwarzer`s move to Arsenal will become high profile shortly.

The Australian, now thirty seven years of age, is reported as being desperate to move to Arsenal with the chance to play in the Champions League seen as a highlight of a career that is approaching its end.

Arsenal are, it`s reported, keen to induct Mark into their goalkeeping coaching system and well be back with an offer that is in excess of the £2 million one they reportedly had rejected.

So what will the catalyst be for a return to the negotiating table you might ask!

Apparently, Arsenal are waiting for the Fulham managerial situation to be concluded before making another official approach.

Later this week then!

is he really going? hard to believe if you ask me!

As an Australian I think he has to go if he wants to play at the next World Cup for us. Besides he deserves it dont u reckon, id rather players go out on a high rather than a low.

This thing has been dragging on for two months. Settle it! We're less than a month away from the season. Time to get the house in order.

he's going... from my gooner friend it seems they've offered him a goalkeeper coaching position once he retires from club play... it is kind of them not to approach while we do not have a manager...
