Fulham - Johnson Shock!

His absence from the squads for the pre-season games can now be explained.

Andrew Johnson, who has not played since aggravating a knee problem against Blackburn, is back in the USA having another exploratory operation under the watchful eye of the renowned surgeon, Dr Richard Steadman.

Something tells me things are not what they should be but our best wishes, nevertheless go to Andrew.

Gutted for AJ....having to watch the lads do so well...especially zamora! I was looking forward to those 2 up front and causing damage. Because both can score and both can set up. I fear his days maybe numbered now with a new manager coming. But as always i really hope to be proven wrong. I would just like to see a fully firing aj and bz...together!!!Get Well soon AJ

gutted! let's hope the surgeon can do the business!

Honestly, he's been out of it for so long that, while I feel bad for AJ, I can't say it has a huge impact on the upcoming season. Let's hope he finally gets healthy and can contribute later in the campaign.

I fear money not so well spent may never be the same again

hope he has the mental fortitude to take his time to get healthy...

Feel sorry for him. However this saga shows no sign of ending so I feel it's time for Mo to splash his considerable cash...Robbie Keane anyone?
