Fulham - It`s Looking Like Jol!

Is it a done deal?

The Daily Mirror certainly thinks so publishing an article this morning that has the distinct inference that Martin Jol will be the next manager of Fulham Football Club!

Only on Friday (yesterday) the news broke that Jol was a leading candidate and that Fulham would announce an appointment by Monday.

According to the Daily Mirror, Jol feels he has unfinished business in the Premier League after twice steering Spurs to fifth place and still has a home in the capital.

Sat behind this keyboard I sincerely hope the Daily Mirror has got its facts right because of all the contenders I reckon Jol is the best, don`t you!

ESPN is reporting that it IS a done deal, with only a compensation figure to Ajax to be finalized.

I am not sure why he would sign for us. He has a chance to play champions league and win the league with Ajax. I am pretty sure he won't get too much more money with us either.

a good reaction from spurs fans is encouraging, and while i understood spurs getting rid of jol at the time, i knew they shouldn't because he was quality...

Martin Jol would be a superb replacement for the mighty Roy! Hope it happens but I do wonder why Jol would leave Champions League possibilities with Ajax for Fulham?
