Fulham - Sidwell Is Ours?

Well that`s what one leading tabloid has implied.

Earlier this week it was suggested that West Ham could sneak in and scupper the deal whilst Fulham wait to announce details of their new manager.

Well one leading tabloid is inferring that is now not the case as Sidwell has finally agreed to join us, from Aston Villa, for the princely sum of 2 million.

If confirmed by the club we reckon we`ve got ourselves a bargain!

not great to be honest, one season wonder with Reading, nothing special... 2m worth a punt I suppose.

Never given a good run in our team, unlike others who took a while to settle in who were somehow preferred in MON's strange favourites list.

good squad player time will tell

This was instigated by Roy, who clearly could see something in Sidwell. This could prove a shrewd deal, seems a reasonable price, especially when you compare it with what we've recently paid for Greening!

For 2m, I think this is a good signing. Let's hope his performance turns it into a bargain.

well you are in my bad books for using a non Villa image for a start! :o)) Be interesting to see how he does, if it is really 2m then nothing to lose, he has been poor for us but I did at the time think it was a good signing. He has a lot to do to get his career back on track though, disappointing time at Villa, so time to wake up or otherwise he'll just slide down the divisions I guess.

Thats what you lot said when Hughes joined....and look at him now....why do you villa lot get so bitter towards your ex players, dont want them to succeed elswhere as they failed at villa....? I hope he has a stormer at fulham....Naturally!!!

2 million - can afford to take a gamble I'd say!
