Fulham - The Sven Latest!

They may have worked together in a perfectly amicable manner at Manchester City but the buzz is that Alistair Mackintosh might not be appointing Sven Goran Eriksson as our next manager.

With the tabloid world implying that the German, Ottmar Hitzfeld, has become the surprise front-runner it`s being reported that talks have broken down between Fulham and Sven Goran Eriksson with the Swede, apparently, wanting more than the £1.5 million salary on offer.

If so, it beggars belief. Surely Sven Goran Eriksson can`t be short of a bob or two, or could he be afraid of stepping into the shoes of (Sir) Roy and not quite matching up to expectations?

Sven, get a Tord Grip of yourself!

In Swedish media Sven Göran Eriksson claims that Fulham have no real interest in him and that him being the forerunner seems like a lot of media hype. He is much more probable to accept the position as manager for the Ivory Coast if that is to be believed. He will decide next week and it did not sound at all in that tv interview that Fulham will offer him the position.

Or that he believed Fulham will. ON the other hand, he is consumate player of the career game so who knows.... Still maybe his rep as being greedy is not all true...look at what he did for Notts Co when he gifted them his entire fee for the months he was there!
