'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Clark Enters the Frame!

As we await the appointment of the successor to Roy Hodgson, the press threw a new name into the hat yesterday.

Lee Clark, a former Fulham player who is cutting his managerial teeth with League One side Huddersfield Town, is the person the bookmakers have now latched on to as a possible successor.

Clark too Huddersfield to the League-One play-offs and has impressed everyone with his style but, and it`s a damned bug but, I can`t help feeling that a jump straight into the hurly-burly of Premier League football would be a jump too far.

I fear it could sink us into another Sanchez style era whereby the only way is down!

I`d much prefer us to be chasing Mark Hughes, wouldn`t you?

Nah one day maybe but for now I'd rather Hughes, Zola, or Bradley... because they all have connections with great players.

Can't see it. But like the Hodgson situation, I just wanted it sorted out soon. Only six weeks 'til the start of the new season.
