Fulham - Pantsil Dream Ends!

But could it have ended in amore dramatic fashion!

In one of the games of the tournament so far (but in all honesty there hasn`t been many god ones to shout about) John Pantsil could only look on in anguish as his Ghana team crashed out on penalties to Uruguay.

But it could have so different!

Deep into injury time, with the game balanced at 1-1, Uruguay conceded a blatant penalty when Suarez handled on the line.

Asomoah Gyan stepped up but could only weep as his penalty crashed against the bar.

In the ensuing penalty shoot-out it was Uruguay that held their nerve the better, winning 4-2.

So the African dream is over, Ghana`s hopes of being the first African side to make the last four of a World Cup lies in tatters.

But hold your head up high Ghana and John Pantsil because you were superb and your pain is felt by us all.
