Fulham - Hodgson Gone!

Fulham - Hodgson Gone!

Despite the uncertainty surrounding the England job, the tabloid press are very insistent that Roy Hodgson will be named as the new Liverpool manager.

In fact the news could well be, according to one tabloid, today whilst another reckons it`ll be inside the next forty-eight hours.

All, however, are insistent that Liverpool have agreed a compensation package with Fulham Football Club.

His potential appointment has, reputedly, met with the approval of the more talented Liverpool players and Roy is expected to take Mike Kelly as his number two.

All in all a bad time for Fulham Football Club and all we can ask ourselves is what have they got what we haven`t?

Well, Roy Hodgson for a start!!

Again, long ago accepted this. Just finish it, so we can get another manager and get rollin'. Buchtmann just left for Cologne. Napoli are supposedly after Dempsey. Brum want Zamora and Konchesky. There's a lot to sort out before the start of the season. No time to waste!

and if the paper talk is right Roy's first job as pool manager will be to take Brede with him, this is going to be a bad summer for us :-(

Oh, yeh. Almost forgot that Schwarzer is supposedly on his way to Arsenal, also. I have to wonder if they're clearing the table for the new manager. Better have the shopping list ready and the check book handy, Mo!

this will be an interesting summer... but i wish it wasn't...

Roy's been a miracle worker - success with marginal talent. Next manager will need a little more to work with, I think. May have to spend some of that Harrods sale money!

As much as i love da bloke WTF is he doing by being an asswhole and taking our players now... apparently he wants Hangeland and Murph (

Fully expected a move for Hangeland. Murphy... he's welcome to him.

For your sakes I hope now he has gone that he doesn't begin the break up of your team. I can understand him wanting to try a so-called bigger team but leave your past alone is what he should do now.

I am not one to be bitter about someone going on for pastures new (bar Jimmy, as he is clearly a money-grabbing ******) as it's only natural to want to go onto bigger and better things. If however, as SFC says, he starts to pick apart our team, I will be far from pleased with a man who has been so great for our football team. Here's to the Golden Years, Roy.

I don't know if you lads have considered mark hughes...he is a very good manager and he is alsoexcellent at working with low budgets and he might be a strong enough name to keep your best players at the club
