Fulham - Hodgson`s Replacement Could Be?

Looking at the printed press this morning, it looks like it`s only a matter of time before (Sir) Roy Hodgson takes the plunge and moves to Anfield.

Whether that move is confirmed before he resumes his World Cup punditry duties or after remains unanswered.

Nevertheless, the hunt appears to be on for his successor with the much travelled and much heralded Sven Goran Eriksson, currently portrayed as the clubs first choice. But, Sven won`t come cheap and there are mutterings that his required salary may well be outside of what Mr Al Fayed wants to pay.

Searching through the papers, the names of two other possible candidates are also prevalent. One is Mark Hughes, the choice you indicated in our recent poll, incidentally ahead of Sven Goran Eriksson, whilst the other is Tony Mowbray.

Mowbray, axed after an unsuccessful spell at Celtic, previously managed West Bromwich Albion.

Am I the only person worried that a recent trend whereby we`ve recruited several players from West Brom, namely Kamara, Gera and Greening could be a prelude for the introduction of a manager who has also been on the books of the West Midlands club?
